Troop History

Troop 336 has been in existence since June 1954.  Over the years we have produced nearly 50 Eagle Scouts, some who have gone on the United States Military Academy at West Point.  We are an "outings" oriented Troop, by having an outdoor event planned nearly every month of the year.

Meeting location info:
Saint James Methodist Church, St. James Place, Lynbrook
Meetings are typically held every Monday night at 7:30pm.

The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Any boy between the ages of 11 and 18 is welcome to join us.

Please call Troop Committeeman, Bob Forte at 516-599-2556 if you are intrested in joining Troop 336.
